City Council Meetings

Members of the City Council may appear telephonically for meetings, and the live meeting will be accessible via web broadcast and telephonically.

The live meeting may be watched on Facebook online at https://www.facebook.com/bensonaz or listened to by calling the phone number provided on the meeting agenda. (It is not necessary to have a Facebook account.)

The attorney general shall have charge of and direct the department of law and shall serve as chief legal officer of the state.  The attorney general shall compile publish and distribute to all state agencies, departments, boards, commissions and councils, and to other persons and government entities on request, at least every ten years, the Arizona agency handbook that sets forth and explains the major state laws that govern state agencies, including information on the laws relating to bribery, conflicts of interest, contracting with the government, disclosure of public information, discrimination, nepotism, financial disclosure, gifts and extra compensation, incompatible employment, political activity by employees, public access and misuse of public resources for personal gain.  A supplement to the handbook reflecting revisions to the information contained in the handbook shall be compiled and distributed by the attorney general as deemed necessary.

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, the City of Benson hereby states that all notices of the meetings of the City of Benson and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted at the following locations:  

United States Post Office, 250 S. Ocotillo Street, Benson, Arizona – open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 

The City of Benson Public Library, 300 S. Huachuca Street, Benson, Arizona – open Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and Legal Holidays Closed 

The City of Benson City Hall (located on a window near the payment drop box) – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.
